Editorial & safety

Adult nightlife requires adult choices, explicit consent, and a clear exit.

PlayDude publishes information for adults aged 20 and over. Its purpose is to help readers make safer, more informed decisions—not to pressure, identify, rank, or objectify individual workers.

Non-negotiable rules

Consent must be explicit, informed, sober enough to be meaningful, and reversible at any time. Paying a venue, buying a drink, booking a room, or agreeing to spend time together never removes anyone's right to stop.

If a person's adult age or identity is unclear, leave. PlayDude excludes named businesses when source material raises unresolved concerns involving minors. Do not photograph or publish identifying images of workers without clear permission.

  • Follow local law and venue age rules; carry valid identification.
  • Agree the complete price, duration, location, and payment timing before leaving a venue.
  • Use protection and make health decisions without pressure.
  • Keep transport independent and share your return plan with someone you trust.
  • Leave immediately if a price, age, identity, boundary, or situation feels unclear.

Prices are not consent

Guest drinks, hosted drinks, bar fines, room charges, minimum spends, and private arrangements are separate decisions. A venue charge pays the venue according to its rules. It does not guarantee another adult's agreement to anything else.

PlayDude avoids language that treats people as inventory. Venue comparisons focus on format, bill structure, atmosphere, transparency, timing, and the reader's ability to make an informed choice.

Privacy, emergencies, and local law

Do not publish faces, names, chat screenshots, room numbers, identification documents, or other private details. Secure valuables, avoid driving after drinking, and use licensed or app-based transport.

In Thailand, Tourist Police can be reached at 1155. Elsewhere, save the relevant local emergency number before going out. PlayDude is travel information, not legal, medical, or emergency advice.
